M2 Animation Studio is looking for FX Artist (Senior/Intermediate/Junior)

     Our 450+ M2 family is a wealth of multicultural talents and consists of more than 20 nationalities from all over the world. Our range covers from storytelling to design, from modeling to texturing, from camera layout to animation and lighting, and from effects to color grading. Right now, M2 Animation is looking for a FX Artist to contribute on a CG TV Series for a top client. Our teams produce a variety of series-format animations: Tween, 2D, preschool etc.

This position is for a candidate who already lives in Thailand.

The Position:

We require FX Artists who will work on CG Fluids, Particles and Simulation animation for CG television series, short films and other short formats.
Skills and Technical Knowledge Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of Houdini and Maya
• Building FX Assets, and producing effects such as smoke, fire, water, explosions, particles and voxel based rendering
• Good knowledge of Redshift and Vray
• Able to create FX shaders, and manage renders of all kinds of FX elements
• Good knowledge of Nuke
• Understanding of the compositing process
• Good knowledge of FX workflow and its pipeline
• Knowledge of Python and VEX are a plus
• An eye for details, good sense of timing, and understanding of FX techniques
• Knowledge and understanding of production structure
• Work under the supervision of the CG Supervisor and the FX Supervisor
• Organized, pro-active and a self-starter and a team player
• A good knowledge of written and spoken English is required

Terms of employment, salary, and benefits will be individually negotiated.
